What we do

Chou Rouge is a small creative event styling and venue decorations agency. We specialise in creating visual décor concepts, venue dressing, artificial plant installations for restaurants, pop-ups, brand activations, events and festivals as well as event prop hire and bespoke made unique items.

We love to work with diverse brands that understand the value of beautifully styled environments. Clients often approach us looking for help to refresh their brands; couples come to us to style their weddings, bar owners with revamp needs and festivals for our colourful and impactful designs.

The Chou Rouge Creative team has styled some of London’s most prominent parties and festivals like the annual disco gathering in Peckham- GALA, and has travelled as far as Albania to transform a stretch of the Albanian Riviera into the vibrant Kala Festival, an acclaimed week-long festival that has been featured in Elle Magazine, the Guardian and the Financial Times. We’ve also styled funky weddings big and small from Dorset to Ibiza and we created a brand new website just for that; Chou Rouge Loves.

who we are

Adrienn & Laura – we are friends first and foremost, becoming colleagues and creative partners later.

Our shared creative passion for aesthetics, décor and the arts brought our small but visionary team together. We met at Adrienn’s monthly rave series - ‘Colors’ and began collaborating on creative projects to great success. After 2 years we realised it was time to elevate, and Chou Rouge Creative was officially born in early 2019.

Both of us are makers by nature with aligned work ethics, but each brings something different to the collective, helping to balance each other and allowing each other to shine. At Chou Rouge Creative we are a collective of creative stylists, makers and builders; we are group of friends and family.

Each and every member of our team has special skills which add up to the thing that our clients ask us to do…“Use your magic!”

Danielle is our talented stylist & prop maker, whose skills and creativity lie behind our imaginative bespoke props.

Through hard work and ambition and a touch of magic, we have achieved so much and the Chou Rouge Creative journey is very much to be continued.

WHAT we proud of

We are proud of growing out of East London's music and club scene into the heart of London's most stylish bars and restaurants over the years.

Having styled some incredible places in 2022 like Mayfair hotspot Annabel's, The House of Koko in Camden, Americana in Westminster, the new Barrio Bars additions in Watford & Covent Garden.. the list just goes on and on. Our determination and creativity as a small but visionary female led creative business has been recognised by the Telegraph's '100 Female Entrepreneurs to Watch' list, which we are immensely proud of.

WHAT’S IN A NAME?

Ever wondered where the name ‘Chou Rouge’ came from? Well wonder no more. Knowing the quirky creative flair that makes up the Chou Rouge Creative brand, we knew we would need a name that expressed it, but one was not easily forthcoming. How could we communicate the colourful, fun, international vibes that make up our brand? Well in as unlikely a place as any of course.

One frosty January evening in an unassuming Stoke Newington branch of Morrisons, Adrienn came across a red cabbage salad pot with the French words ‘Chou Rouge’ emblazoned across the top. Was it mad? Quite possibly…but was it instantly right? Definitely! And so the quirky and colourful name was set and the journey begun.

Chou Rouge – say Chou -  ch (as in shoe) ou (as in now) rou (as in rule) and ge (as in version)

Each project is made with meticulous attention to detail, lashings of imagination and just a hint of magic.

Our goal is to find the most creative ways to satisfy your dressing needs, always with your audience’s reaction at the forefront of our minds.
